Week 7

So this week Molly and I decided to make some jewelery! This project started off with us thinking how cool it would be to make CD earrings, and necklaces. Unfortunately we were not able to see each other before the end of the week in order to make them. As a solution, we decided to create our items out of found/made objects.
I made three necklaces; one out of wood pieces from the field by my house, another out of stones collected on the road, and another out of figurines that might look a little familiar (all the way back here...)

My Turn!

So Molly pretty much explained this entire project, and the only diffrence between my photographs and hers are that my subject was a miniature stick figure that we made out of the same beading wire as last week rather than the clouds.

Week 6!!

Hello everyone! This weeks project was more photography(ish) based. Grayson was away this weekend so we thought a photography project would be best. 

Before he left we made clouds out of pillow fluff, and hung them on a clothing hanger.

Then I (Molly) Took photos of it in different obscure(ish) places outside, that most people never really pay attention too.

Week 5!

 So this week, Grayson and I were really stuck on what to do. Then we found some old lamps around my house and we decided to decorate them!

 

 This one is supposed to look like a volcano... We took some old fabric that was lying around at my house and wrapped the lamp shade in it!

 Then this one is supposed to look like an apple tree. We cut out leaves from some green felt, and attached it on to beeding wire, and then wrapped that around the metal part of the lamp shade.

Week 4!

So this week we did a photography project. Both Molly and I thought that pictures using long exposure and light looked fairly cool. So we decided to make some of our own.

Using my cameras long exposure setting,and a lamp Molly found in her garage we took turns creating shapes and Figures in the air

                                   We soon found out that it is definitely not as easy as it seems...

All in all i think that some of the pictures turned out pretty well, and we learned some important things from it.

Sorry for the recent radio (blog?) silence! I (grayson) was away on a trip in europe, so we were unable to communicate or post anything new...
But we will have something  up this week for sure!
